Summer, summer is a great thing. It gets you out of school for 2 months. That is a long time, out of school. It’s hot, sunny, and best of all its not cold! In my summer brake I usually go to Italy for the month of July to get into some real heat.
When I’m there I like to go to the beach, visit family and travel around the country.
When I’m in Italy I go to beaches in San Vito Marina and Pescara. My favourite beach is in Pescara because the water is always warm and there are not many people there. My other favourite part about going to Pescara over San Vito Marina is because the waves. The waves are massive, like not tsunami massive but a good 6 feet high. It’s so cool just getting murked by these massive water creatures. There is also a lot of shopping so when you are tired of swimming and getting hammered by the waves you can go chill at a bar/restaurant and get a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs. After lunch you can go shopping in the stores. But in San Vito Marina the waves are smaller but there is a pier you can jump off. The pier is like 20 feet off the water so sometimes when you land wrong it can hurt a lot. After swimming I go back to my grandma’s place and crash for an hour or 2 until dinner is ready.
When I go to Italy I stay in Lanciano. My family lives in San Vito Marina so we have to take a bus there which takes around 20 – 30 minutes. But the busses are coach, so it makes it a lot better. Or I can take a luxury train which takes around 15 minutes. When I get to the city I have to walk around 10 minutes to get to their houses. When I get there we eat lunch and chill and talk, but of course they all speak a slang Italian so even with my partial knowledge of Italian I still can’t understand because they don’t speak proper Italian. So during the time I’m chilling at their house and eating lunch it is really aqward. But after lunch we go to the beach so it’s all good. I have no family anywhere else.
When I am there I stay in a little town called Lanciano, so to get to some good sightseeing and shopping we have to travel to other, bigger, well-known cities like Rome, Venice, Florence and Pescara. To get to most of those towns we have to travel a long way, like 5-6 hours long. We take the train, because they are really nice and comfortable and fast. When we travel to bigger cities we shop a lot and eat a lot. When I went to Rome I went to Spanish Steps and the Ferrari Store and of course the Vatican. When I went to Florence I saw the Doumo and shopped a lot. When I went to Venice I went and took a boat to an island I forget the name, but it was really cool. We also took a gondola through Venice. I liked them all the same for different reasons.
So, that is what does most of the time in my summer. I love going to Italy for my summer break. But this year I want to go to school there (CCI) my brother and sister went there so now I want to go there too, of course. So that is why I love my summer.

If i had 40 million dollars
If I won 40 million dollars, I would be so happy that I would cry. When you think about it 40 million dollars is a lot of money and it can change your life dramatically. If I won 40 million dollars I would use all that money to but a bunch of things including my own private jet, multiple houses all over the world and I would have a collection of super cars.
When I go to buy my own personal private jet I would need to have a lot of big TV’s inside the plane with x-box 360 hooked up to all of them and satellite with it too. I would also need to have full service with food and drinks whenever I want it. I would also need to have a pilot and a co-pilot to fly my plane. It would need to be very fast so if I am in a hurry to get somewhere I could get there very quick in and safe... It would need to be very comfortable and have a smooth flight. I would want it to have at least 35 seats in the plane so if I wanted to throw a party in it would have enough room for some people. That would cost around 10 to 15 million dollars.
So with my other 25 to 30 million dollars left I would first buy a huge house in Italy most likely in Tuscany with a wine vineyard and it would have to an old castle. But inside it would be decked out with massive TV’s with stone and timber inside and an arcade in the basement. I would need to have 7 to 10 bedrooms and the with same bathrooms. Outside seeing how Tuscany is not near the coast of Italy ( its in the middle ), I would have a giant pool shaped like the country Italy , like a boot with a hot tub in the toe and the water everywhere else. That would cost around 10 to 13 million dollars.
So with my 20 million dollars left I would have to have a very nice and good collection of old and new super cars. First I would buy a Bugatti Veyron then a collection of Aston Martins and a collection of Ferraris and Lamborghinis. In my Aston Martin collection of cars I would have a DBS and a One of 77. In my Ferrari collection I would buy a 16M (Marenello), a Ferrari f50, and a Ferrari California. I would also buy a Lamborghini Murcielago, a Gallardo, and a revonton. And most defiantly a Rolse Royse Phantom blacked out with 24” rims. That would cost around 15 million dollars.
With the rest of my money, I would put it into the bank for future needs. So if I had 40 million dollars that is what I would spend it on.

If I could be one superhero I would have to be Wolverine.
I would be Wolverine because he is super jacked and he has a type of metal that is 10x stronger than steel. Oh and it comes out of his hand.
I would use that power to cut people up. That I mean bad people up.
I would be Wolverine because he was in a movie, in many books and in a video game. I don’t think any other superheroes were in that many things. Wolverine is really cool and really strong so I think he is the coolest superhero ever. He also hangs out with other really cool superheroes to, so eventually the other superheroes coolness rubs off onto wolverine making him cooler than life.
That is why I if I could be any superhero I would most definitely be Wolverine for these reasons: He’s super strong, He has metal bones that come out of his hand, and he can’t die. Those are the reasons why I would be him.

If i could be anybody in the world
If I could be one person in the whole world I would be a young Bill Gates. I would be him for many reasons for example: 1. He is the wealthiest person on earth. 2. He is super smart.
The thing is he is old. That is the only downside to being Bill Gates and that why I chose to be ‘A Young’ Bill Gates because I have a lifetime to spend all $80,000,000,000.
If I were Bill Gates I would almost do the exact opposite and not give all my money away to charities and when I die I would leave my wealth to my children unlike him.
I would love to be ‘a young’ Bill Gates because I could be super smart and super wealthy. If I was him I would first buy a Bugatti Grand Sport. Then I would buy a private jet and fly to Italy and buy a huge vineyard and put a giant castle on the property in Tuscany.
That is what I would do if I was 'A young' Bill Gates.

Did You Know
Well I just watched the video “Did You Know”. I thought that it was great and somewhat shocking and scary that all those facts are real. It was hard to believe also.
One of my favourite facts is that India has more honour kids that The United States has kids! That is shocking because you would think that The US would be a much smarter country than India.

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty is the best war game in the world. I just bought it a few days ago and I have already finished the campaign.
It’s so addicting and filled with action and violence, when I went to buy the salesperson told my mom to watch it with me when I play and watch all the gore. When I was in there listening to the girl talk about how violent it was and I asked her if she is trying to talk my mom out of buying it but soon after buying it I was immediately home in my room playing it.
The first level is super fun and you are with a guy scaling a mountain in a snowstorm, a few minutes later when you are just finished climbing the mountain you and your friend turn super stealth with your snipers you are perched up on the top of a mountain sniping bad guys way down below with a silenced barrette 50. Cal. sniper rifle. Soon after the sniping session you are down below with your silenced 45Cal pistol sneaking up behind people “Neutralizing” people.
The level after that when you have got the information your organization needs you are chased through a city on snowmobiles shooting other people off their snowmobiles. Then after 2 or 3 minutes of city racing you are racing through a forest and between mountains. This one of my favourite levels I have ever done in any video game.
The last level you are betrayed by your mentor and you go and infiltrate his hideout and kill all his guards until he gets in a boat and you chase him with his guards also in boats shooting you but once you kill all of them it’s just you and “Shepard” then he drives his boat straight into a helicopter and it takes off and turns around to shoot us but we both fire at the propellers and it blows up and then not noticing we fall off a cliff and we live somehow and Shepard lives also and he finds me before I find him and he puts a knife into my chest.
My friend finds me just before he shoots me and he takes him out and they get in a fight and Shepard is about to kill him then I pull knife out of my chest and throw it through his head.
There are lots of more very good levels like the first and last one if you liked the ones I just explained.
As you can see (read) that this sounds like a very good game and it is! My opinion is that this is the best game ever made and I very strongly think you should go out and buy it as soon as you can. I love this game and I think you will to (that if you are into war games).
Call of Duty is the ultimate video game on earth but the only down side is that it is $75 after taxes but other than that it’s amazing.

Eva Olssen
On Monday October 28 we had Eva Olssen came into our school and talk to us about hate , the Holocaust and her experience in the Holocaust. Eva Olssen is one of the few Holocaust survivours.
When she was talking to us and going through the slides. One of the things that impacted me personally the most was when she witenesed here own mother and many other people be brutally murdered by the German and Austrian Nazi's. I definatly could not stomach those sights and painful 15 or so years in a concentration camp.
At the begining she was talking about bullies and bystanders and how a bystander is just as bad as a bully not because they joined in but because they did not do anyhting about it. One thing that i wil always remember for the years to come is that:
1) Dont use the word hate anymore, because that is what started the Holocaust.
2) Dont be a bully or a bystander, no matter what.
3) The Holocaust was horrible.
Out of all the information Eva was throwing at use I only have one question and that queation is " How did you survive 15 years of hell in hell?."
All the information Eva was telling us about I already have started to stop using the word "Hate". Eva was so true because the word "Hate" started the Holocaust and not just that but many , many more bad situstaions we all want never to happen again.
War for example is one.
The information that Eva was saying during the hour slide show and history lesson, the most important thing we should remember is that: Never use the word "Hate" and be a bystander. Those things can lead into some bad things over the years that you dont want to get yourself into. And finally the hardest thing I will have to do is to stop using the word "Hate", it is very hard because before we met her i was using that word in almost every other sentence. But I will try my hardest to stop it.
